Honor’s Magic 3 series phones shed the Huawei ‘baggage’, comes with Google apps and services

Honor, the former sub-brand of Huawei, has launched its flagship lineup — Magic 3 series — in its home country China. The series consists of three handsets — Magic 3, Magic 3 Pro, and Magic 3 Pro+. With these handsets, Honor will be able to offer Google apps and mobile services when they launch globally, which it wasn’t able to due to the US sanctions imposed on Huawei. The restrictions barred the smartphone maker from using Google's apps and services. The Magic 3 series is Honor’s first flagship launch since it was sold off by Huawei.
